Etna Woodfire pizza led by chef Raffael elevated our wedding on February 10th to a whole new level of deliciousness! From the moment guests caught a whiff of the tantalising aroma wafting from the Woodfire oven, they knew they were in for a treat!

The entree, main and desert pizzas were nothing short of perfection. Each bite was a symphony of flavours.

Etnas professional and friendly staff surely every guest was take care of, worth prompt service and a smile. Their passion for crafting exceptional Woodfire pizzas shone through in every aspect of their service, from preparation of presentation.

Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the delicious pizzas, and May went back for seconds and even thirds! Thankyou for adding a touch of gourmet perfection to our special day.

My (now) husband and I had the absolute pleasure of Raffaele and his amazing team from Etna Woodfired Catering to cater for our wedding reception in mid-April 2024. It was hands down the best decision we ever made!

Firstly, INSANELY DELICIOUS fresh, hot woodfired pizza minutes out from the oven was the biggest hit with our guests. Everyone loved all of the pizza choices we selected and wouldn’t stop gushing over it. No credit but to Raffaele himself - he is a very talented chef, passionate in what he does and it translated so obviously when we ate his food. He will always ensure his clients are 100% happy with everything. Food made with love always hits differently.

Secondly, we had our pizzas served canapé style by his beautiful team of wait staff. They were gorgeous and so hospitable to our guests, always a smile on their faces and made sure no one was left without being offered food throughout the reception.

My husband and I cannot thank Raffaele and his Etna team. They have gone above and beyond to make our wedding night so special and our guests still remember the incredible service and food provided. Cannot recommend him enough! ❤️

Etna wood-fire pizzas were fantastic. Raffaele and Gizelle’s service was outstanding and the pizzas were great. They were fast and efficient and on time. All of our guests couldn’t get enough of the pizza and they were all snapped up as soon as they were brought to the tables. The dessert pizza was to die for highly recommend and would use 100 times over again and again. Raffaele the owner went above and beyond for us and is so lovely!

"If you are in Newcastle and haven't heard about Etna Mobile Woodfired Pizza then you need to get down to the Newcastle Farmers Markets. When my wife and I go down on weekends, we always head straight there (see image). They are always friendly and helpful and make a pizza that reminds us of when we travelled throughout Italy. My favourite is the Pepperoni and the wife loves the Vegetarian with olives and mushrooms, the pizza's are authentic and taste fantastic. 'The best pizza in town' and if my family have a party we will be getting them to cook for the night as so many people in these reviews have suggested. I still can't believe the price of these pizzas, such great value. Thoroughly recommended!"

"I met Raffaele at a party that he was catering for and hired him immediately for my daughter's 30th birthday party. Etna Mobile Woodfired Catering is truly the answer for all catering and parties. The pizzas are delicious and just keep coming out. All the hard work is taken away. You can relax and enjoy the party while the pizzas are cooked on site. Raffaele sets up, cooks and packs it all away. There is nothing to do but enjoy the beautiful food and relax with your guests. Best value for money and all our guests were raving about the food! Wow wow! I can't recommend these guys more highly. There is something extra special about having the caterer bring an Authentic woodfire oven to an event. So much nicer than a bain marie or whatever most caterers use to prepare the food. #AuthenticItalian

"Whenever I go to the Sunday markets in Newcastle, the first place I go to is Etna pizza and grab the vegetarian. It’s the best pizza in town, never disappoints. Very polite owner, amazing quality and price. Highly recommended! They also do catering for backyard parties / functions and I hear they’re the best."
